One of the main differences between the successful and the unsuccessful is how they relate to change. To many, major change in life is a negative thing. To most, people go through life, changing little, and reacting to life as it changes things around them. The successful person implements change, and actually seeks change, because they know that no upgrade in their life can happen if things continue to stay the same. In order to get a better condition in life, the current condition must be eliminated with a new, changed, and better condition. This change may take great effort, work, discomfort, hassle, difficulty, or even worry and fear. Yet, those who push to be their best and push to achieve the best that life can offer, go for change, no matter how uncomfortable or difficult it is. Staying the same may be safe, and may make you feel good, but really, it will just keep you getting more of the same of what you've got. And, sometimes, it will even give you less of what you've got if someone else comes along and pushes their change against you, if you are not in a position of power to prevent that change.

Power involves change. That which does not expand, contracts. If a car is not being washed, maintained, and cared for on a consistent basis, it may eventually rust and fall apart. If a human body is not well fed and given a steady regimen of good health, it may eventually start deteriorating. If a business is not making more sales and profit on an upward trend, it may go under. There is no in between. The nature of life requires expansion, and constant production and creation. On a macrological level, as a species or a race, if a species or race is not expanding with more births greater than deaths, it will begin to shrink. On a micrological level, if one individual does nothing but lay in bed day after day, even if they eat, their body will become more and more weak, and they may eventually even get bed sores. Life and success requires change, and that change required is progress, production, movement, and creation. The ultimate opposite of this is death. To be alive and live fully is to move, and to change and make change happen around you.

Learn to not only be prepared for change, learn further to make change happen, and to make change a deliberate part of your life. Push through your fears of change, and make it a thrilling game that you win at. Also with change, which may be an unknown, may come a rejection of some type. Those who can not handle rejection, can not handle upgrading their life. Most every upgrade in life involves rejection, because in order to get a 'yes' to something better, one must usually first go through a series of 'no's.' Success is merely jumping over enough hurdles without stopping. If you trip, if you fall, if you hit one, just get up and keep running. Success does not stop for obstacles- it attacks them and leaps over them, one by one, until the game is won.

Go for success, go for change, and be prepared to get rejected, trip, or fall, and keep on running. Life is a game we are here to play and learn at. Make it fun, make it thrilling, and make it so that you are not afraid of to go beyond the horizon of the unknown. Make it an adventure. After all, what's the worst thing that can happen if you make a big change? You might die? I doubt it. So be brave, and as Gandhi said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world!"
